Saxgourmet Big Bully Baritone Mouthpiece
This is our Top of the Line baritone mouthpiece. As many of you know, I am a baritone player by profession, and this model was developed to meet my specific needs and requirements.
The Big Bully is machined from one billet of bell quality, solid brass. The baffle is quite compound, being high near the tip for projection, and then opening to a larger bullet chamber for rich mids and lows. This is a very different baffle than is used on our famous Low Rider model, and is longer and has a bullet design rather than a cliff. The special single screw ligature fits into channels machined into the sides of the mouthpiece. The beak has a pronounced duck bill shape. The tip is .120, and the facing is 50 on a standard mouthpiece gauge. The window is unusually large and extends well into the table. The tip rail is ultra thin for rapid articulation.
EACH AND EVERY BIG BULLY MOUTHPIECE IS HAND FACED AND PLAY TESTED BY ME.
