In response to many customer requests, we are happy to offer an alto version of our famous Fat Boy tenor mouthpiece. This mouthpiece is machined from a solid brass billet, and has a high cliff baffle with a rollover leading into a medium sized chamber. There is a very pronounced duckbill beak. The facing is medium in length, and available tip openings are .090. It is very free blowing and responsive, and the tone is somewhat bright. It is well suited for rock or jazz. A single screw ligature and engraved metal cap are included. .080 or .090 tip. This mouthpiece is extremely popular with alto players who prefer a metal mouthpiece.
