A customer who's into horseback-riding suggested I use a product called LEXOL.
I haven't gone looking for a tack shop yet, but plan to do so.
Anyone familiar with this stuff & whether or not it might be useful for sax pads?

I'm not familiar with it, but it has been many years since I was working on a farm. I'd advice caution if it is a paste/cream or something like saddle soap - these things tend to leave a residue, which I think would tend to promote gunk buildup and pad sticking. I like the neatsfoot oil suggestion in another thread - going to try some of that on one of my horns that is getting repadded next week..
